Party Day are a new band to me.......it's strange saying that as they existed nearly 30 years ago! I was talking to someone i go to football with and he put me onto them, Party Day came from Barnsley and dealt in post punk noise, immediate references are The Cure, Magazine and Gang of Four. They released 2 albums, this one and another called simplicity, 3 singles and gigged around the UK in the early 80's but never really made it big, thats a shame as i think this album is fantastic.

Any chance this link can come back to life? I used to have this vinyl and the same-titled but completely different ep. Awesome stuff.
