I was at something called ( rather grandly ) the Slough Music Festival in 1991..... what i hear you cry? It was a one day event full of Thames Valley shoegazers and indie kids..... It was summer maybe the month before Reading Festival i think and hot...so pretty good fun actually...
Ride headlined the main stage, with Curve, Slowdive, Revolver, Soul Family Sensation, The Mock Turtles and Thousand Yard Stare also on the bill. T.Y.S. stole the show and i went on to become a bit of a fan following them about on tour supporting Carter USM, James and headlining with support from Sp!n who went on to become half of Gene..... oh Gene...more on you later
Hands On was released early 1992 and i played my copy to near death.... it actually stands the test of time pretty well too....

This cost me about $24 import price in 1992, but it was worth every penny.
